When you have read it, we would love to hear what you think about the book (and any other books you read).  Post a comment by clicking on the link below – give a brief outline of the story and what you thought of it.  When other people read that book, they can post their own comments in reply to yours.

Fairtrade Fortnight

March 2, 2008

We are half way through Fairtrade Fortnight when we think of where our food and other products come from and who produces them.  If they carry the Fairtrade symbol, we know that the farmers and producers are being treated fairly.   This week in our classes, we will be doing some activities and learning about fairtrade.  We will also have a special assembly on the subject.  Let us know:

  • what you learn this week about fairtrade or activities you do in class;
  • your ideas on how we can encourage or promote fairtrade in school;
  • any interesting websites about fairtrade.
